The test detects the presence of cocaine and its primary metabolite, benzoylecgonine, in oral fluid at a 20ng/ml cutoff level. Benzoylecgonine is the main breakdown product of cocaine and is widely recognized as the most reliable marker for recent cocaine use.

The test has been carefully evaluated for cross-reactivity. It is designed to specifically detect cocaine and benzoylecgonine, and it shows no significant reactivity with common over-the-counter medications or unrelated drugs.
